Running Bare Autumn Winter 17 Collection Preview

It’s kind of hard to believe that autumn is on its way very soon, especially considering the freakishly hot weather, followed by the crazy storms that we’ve had here in Sydney and across most of eastern Australia – it has been a WILD end to summer!

Despite the record heat, cooler weather is on its way soon (thank goodness) and as the beautiful autumn and the cold winter seasons roll around, every month throughout these seasons we’ll be dropping the latest and greatest Running Bare clothing from the Running Bare Autumn/Winter 17 collection for you to browse and buy (at this point you should be getting excited because there are MANY fantastic new activewear pieces from the gals at Running Bare coming your way!).

Rather than you waiting to see what’s coming as it goes live on the site, we thought we’d show you, in advance, all of the indent pieces that our buyers have selected from Running Bare this autumn/winter. Read on for an insider’s view on the latest Running Bare collection…

Running Bare Autumn Winter 17 Overview

Each season Running Bare kindly invite us to their offices for their seasonal showing. It’s a fun morning which entails watching models show off the latest Running Bare activewear and learning about how the season’s collection has taken shape, the inspiration for it, the latest fabric technology being used in Running Bare tights, singlet tops, t-shirts, crops and shorts and who Running Bare Australia have developed each clothing piece in each capsule for – e.g. the yogi, the gym goer, the runner etc. After circling far too many products in our wholesale catalogue to order for you, our lovely customers, we then work with the fabulous Running Bare sales rep (in our case the wonderful Abby) to refine our selections and put together Running Bare styles/outfits that go together. Here is an overview of the monthly buying planning process and the kind of feedback that we receive from Running Bare (RB rep's comments in black with squares around them):

Running Bare January 2017 Arrivals

You’ll notice from the above season layout and the below image that January is all about bringing you bright, vibrant colours from Running Bare’s collection that reflect the general mood of summer, given it’s the middle summer month – it’s about fun under the sun, whether you’re working out near the beach, riding a bike or shopping for flowers at the market.

This ‘good time summer vibes’ capsule is lead by the Classic Nina Full Length Tight. These bold and bright Running Bare tights feature palm fronds, parrots and frangipanis and match back perfectly with the new season ‘Light My Tiki’ colour in the ever popular Baseline High Neck Workout Tank and best-selling Gelato 448 Push Up Crop.

The great thing about the January capsule is the colours all tie back to each other so you could order every piece from the Running Bare January collection and be perfectly colour and style coordinated. For example, you can pick up the splashes of yellow within the beautiful jewel/gem pattern on the Running Bare Street Styler ¾ Tights and match this back with the Light My Tiki colour in the before-mentioned Workout Tank and Push Up Crop. Alternatively you could put the tights together with the cheeky Easy Rider Crew Neck Muscle Tank which has matching yellow greetings including ‘HI’, ‘HOLA’, ‘BONJOUR’ and ‘CIAO’ along with a little yellow ‘Fritz the bear’ logo on the side.

Lastly, both of the Running Bare 3/4 tights and full length tights include colours that you can work back with the ultra supportive and super soft feeling Classic Power Up Cross Back Crop in the colour way 'Ruby Pumps'.

Running Bare February 2017 Arrivals

In February we’ve selected, with the assistance of Running Bare, more toned down colours such as ‘Skylar’ (a darker purple pattern) in the Running Bare Fashionista 448 Push Up Crop and Running Bare Long Jump ¾ Tight, as well as ‘Babe Blue’ included in the Dancing on the Ceiling Full Tight and the Power Up Cross Back Crop. ‘Babe Blue’ is picked up in the Classic Kaia Full Tight, providing you with another opportunity to coordinate. Finally in Feb we have the Running Bare Word on the Street Tights – a classic Running Bare style and a fav of ours! 

Running Bare March 2017 Arrivals

Our curated autumn/winter Running Bare range steps up in March with vibrant magentas and black and blue colour and print patterns in this drop. The March arrivals will include two Running Bare crop tops, one supportive crop, the Vixen Cross Back Crop and one push up crop, the classic 448 Gelato Push Up Crop. Temps in March are starting to drop from the summer peak, so to keep you warm and cosy, we’ve add the Recovery Crew Neck Pull Over and full length Running Bare tight, the Long Jump Full Tight. We’ve added in a ¾ tight and tank option to match back to the Gelato Push Up Crop colour. Finally, our March drop would not be complete without a flattering black tank option and we’ve gone with Running Bare’s New Guard Muscle Tank, a relaxed muscle tank with longer sleeves through the arms for comfort when working out or throwing over the top of swimmers. This black workout tank includes the words ‘RUNNING x BARE’ across the front in white.

Running Bare April 2017 Arrivals

Running Bare's April drop on onsport.com.au sees one of the smaller product drops of the entire Running Bare AW17 collection, with just four injections of product this month. The primary colour for April is a purple colour that Running Bare called ‘Lead Lady’. In this colour we’ve selected one of Running Bare’s Push Up Crops (an absolute best-seller and a staple in the line up) and a Bionic Revolution Action Back Tank, another extremely popular style. We’ve add to these ‘Lead Lady’ coloured styles a Power Up Cross Back Crop in ‘Raisin Bar’ which tie back with the Hear Me Roar Full Length Tight, a darker floral printed full length tight (seen in the image directly below).

Running Bare May 2017

The final monthly drop of the Running Bare Autumn/Winter 17 collection, May, features three sets of full length tights - perfect as the cold weather will be in full force by then. In addition to three sets of full length tights, we drop in two Running Bare tanks, one Bionic Revolution Workout Tank and another Baseline High Neck Workout Tank with samurai slit through the back for breathability and style. Finally, we’ve chosen a Classic Power Up Cross Back Crop which matches back with the Street Styler Full Length Tight and Dancing on the Ceiling Full Tight. May’s product drop includes two stories, a modern, all over monochrome print with highlights of muted colours (a true winter 'story') and army/military-inspired khaki/camo tights and khaki-coloured (RB call this colour ‘Assassin’) High Neck Workout Tank - the military look remains very on trend!
