Camelbak Eddy 0.75 Litre Review

It’s Valentine’s Day and the other half, adventurous as he is, has surprised you with an impromptu walk. As always, the walk is not so much a walk as it is a hike up a mountain! The ‘inner boy’ takes over your date, and he’s off jumping rocks and you’re left close to passing out through dehydration! Just a sip of water; a sip of water and I’ll be like Cameron Diaz in a Charlie’s Angel! You reach inside the backpack to find the bloody water bottle has leaked over everything; welcome to my valentine’s day. I’d been given the Camelbak Eddy to test but hadn’t brought it with me.

After my experience I was pleasantly surprised to find a water bottle with a comfortable handle, a sturdy lid and an easily accessible drinking valve and all with a lifetime guarantee.

Staying Hydrated

By the time you feel thirsty you’re body is already on its way to dehydration. The best way to stay hydrated is to sip water throughout the day, not just with meals. You wouldn’t leave your house without your keys and wallet and the same should be with your water bottle. So why Camelbak? Whether it’s cross fit, biking, yoga, or walking downtown to shop, the Camelbak Eddy is the perfect water bottle for the job. They’re so confident of this that they back up all their bottles with a lifetime guarantee.

Initially what sets the Camelbak Eddy apart from other water bottles is the straw / bite valve combination which is similar to that of other Camelbak products. Its sleek bottle design allows for it to fit in your hand and into virtually all car cup holders and – it looks great! The bottle also has an extremely useful loop handle, which you can hang from your pack meaning your hands are free to do whatever pleases them! Forget about fumbling with a lid and sloshing water all over yourself. The signature straw / bite valve combo of the Camelbak Eddy makes it easy to sip with no tipping required. If, like me, you’re in need to down a bottle to avoid great embarrassment, just unscrew the lid and chug to your hearts content! Lastly, the eddy is 100% BPA free and free of BPS, so you won’t have to worry about any harmful toxins leaching into your drinking water. So get out there, be active and for goodness sake, don’t repeat my big valentines mistake.
