The Broady bodyboard factory started in New Zealand in the 80’s but relocated to Indonesia in the early 2000’s. With two of the industries leading shapers at the helm, the Broady Factory uses CNC shaping, buzztech heat lamination and purpose built Aku Shaping in order to produce high performance bodyboards for most of the world’s leading brands.

2.4lb Polyethylene PE
Mid-heavy-weight extruded foam compressed at 2.4lb offering a sturdy intermediate bodyboard. This foam is not waterproof and is ideal in cold climates.
EXT Stringer
Pultruded plastic and carbon composite rod offering rigidity and durability.
55/45 Rails
This rail setup leaves less of your rail in the water and offers the rider less contact with the water and therefore better drive and speed throughout all conditions.
Graduated
Graduated channels are a slow rise channel which redirect waterflow to create lift and allow the rider a better grip on the wave.
HDPE
HDPE is a high density plastic. This plastic is hard wearing and very stiff. Whilst it will perform as per the norm, it is more prone to creasing when under heavy stress as for its high density properties.
IXLPE Crosslink Decking
IXLPE is physically crosslinked polyethylene foam and is a very smooth skin decking. Soft in appearance and feeling.
Clipped Crescent
The clipped crescent tail is the most popular crescent tail option. This tail will perform when driving, turning, carving and releasing. Clipping the tail allows the rider to maximise their drive and maintain control through the outer concaves and clipped areas.
Nose Bulbs
Nose bulbs are a slightly raised area of foam on the nose of the board which create a comfortable spot to grip the nose.
Contours
The contours are the slight indents in the deck of a bodyboard. Their job is to help you lock in to the board as best as possible.

VS Ignition PE 43 Bodyboard
The VS Ignition PE bodyboard is an ideal intermediate level option. A polyethylene core with two stringers will allow the rider to advance their riding in more testing conditions.
